"I said nothing of increased training." he snapped at the mare, who had so... thoughtfully corrected him. He is not a diplomat nor is he a wordsmith - he is a soldier, and he does not have the time nor the patience to deal with stupidity in any form. It seemed, to him, very much like she was attempting to gain recognition in front of her superiors by over-thinking, and assuming. "Perhaps you ought to keep your assumptions to yourself. I merely said that they are active." an eyebrow lifts, and he regards her coolly. "Because they are. Because I met two of them in an otherwise deserted mock battleground. And when horses are outside of their kingdoms and are doing stuff, they are considered active." he speaks slowly as if he were addressing a particularly stupid child.
And, finally, falling silent again, he steps backwards, withdrawing from the conversation, but remaining close to Mari, for the time being.
