the stars a bright tonight

The Chamber huntress has lost track of the days.  The months blur together in uneventful passing.  The seasons change but nothing else seems to.  It is both peaceful and tormenting.

Stretching past her normal boundaries, the goat queen sets sights on a place of the past.  The ruins are a reminder of once was, cementing the fact that time wears us all.

The remains of whatever the remnants once were are no more than the craggy cliffs of the mountains within the Chamber.  She steps over some, leaps gracefully onto another with cloven hooves.  

She stops to look about, tipping her horned face this way then that.  The dark of night was comforting to the Krampus creature.  Far off in the void of space, celestial bodies glittered the sky above.  She often paid no mind to these foreign elements, but tonight that same light descended before her and began dancing about.

A scuff growls from her lips as the smallish orb pulses teasingly in front of her.  She snorts in annoyance as it lunges towards her then retreats out of reach.  This causes the huntress to smile with prowllness.  

This time it is her that lunges forth, snapping her jaws around the shining star.  The ethereal light illuminates from within her closed jaws, escaping through her orbital membranes that cast an eerie glow to her silver eyes.
