    COTY

    Assailant -- Year 226

    QOTY

"But the dream, the echo, slips from him as quickly as he had found it and as consciousness comes to him (a slap and not the gentle waves of oceanic tides), it dissolves entirely. His muscles relax as the cold claims him again, as the numbness sets in, and when his grey eyes open, there’s nothing but the faint after burn of a dream often trod and never remembered." --Brigade, written by Laura

Homeward Bound (Hurricane, Offspring, Any, Joining Tundra)
    #3
    Brynmor

    "With my speechless calm eyes."

He sees the pair entering through the sole gate in the ice wall that is the Tundra’s whole southern border. Black and white. Brynmor’s lips twitch into a pleasant smile as the sight brings up good memories. Once the white winged stallion had lead him into the Tundra, in a comparable state. The graying male hadn’t been injured like this dark male was, but he too hadn’t been in any condition to hurry. He had been broken, just a shell without existence. But the Tundra had fixed him, and if this stranger wanted it too, she could do the same for him.

Due to the summer the lands are green, a refreshing change from the long winter. Not that the formerly blind male does mind the snow, he had grown used to it and he even liked it’s charm. But now seeing the stranger’s state up close he’s glad that Hurricane hadn’t found him in a different season. The cold could’ve been dangerous in this weak state.

”Just as it’s my home. And it could be your home too, if you would want it to be.” He’s just in time to catch up Hurricane’s words. Offering both a smile he dips his head in a silent greeting, his eyes meeting Hurricane’s for a short second before looking at the dark stranger. ”Welcome to the Tundra, my name is Brynmor” he properly introduces himself after a slight pause, taking his time to study the wounded stallion.

Brynmor cannot help but to feel a little strange there, standing in front of Hurricane like this. The winged stallion had been his king when he had brought him to the Tundra, when he was offered a home among the brothers. Now he was a part of the brotherhood himself. And on top of that stand in for their away on business king. The gray male still held a lot of respect for the other stallion, even feeling they weren’t on the same level yet, but at the same time he was the one standing in for Offspring right now.

Pushing these uneasy feelings aside he turns to look at Hurricane, glancing in the stranger’s direction from time to time. ”Do we expect trouble?” he asks, referring to the former king’s promise that the black man would be safe in the Tundra. Other than his wounded state Brynmor hadn’t yet find anything unusual about him, but their probably had to be a story behind this situation, and he liked to know what they had gotten themselves into. He wasn’t the one to send the stranger away, not when he needed a home just like he had once, but that didn’t mean they shouldn’t be prepared.

    "Nothing is coming to rise."

OOC: So, since Krys is away because of her wedding and honeymoon Offy left Bryn in charge while he's away on kingdom business. So I figured I should have Bryn reply here instead of Offy Smile
